Transcription of your video or film footage cuts the rough editing time and expenses dramatically. Producers and clients can read through the transcript, with or without the actual video, and select the cuts and sound bites they want included in a production quickly and efficiently.  While selecting footage in an edit suite may cost hundreds of dollars an hour, you can reduce that time by having a transcript of the footage and/or interviews with timecodes ready for the editor to digitize just what you want to use.

Documentary Footage/Interviews Videotaped/B-Roll - We take your raw footage and tell you exactly what is on the tapes.  We transcribe the audio that can be heard and put in brief general descriptions of what is happening.  Irrelevant audio will not be transcribed (such as video production crew talking, background noises, talent or camera direction).  

B-Roll Videotape Logging with Timecodes – This is a written description of each scene with timecodes.  

What you receive back from us:
Your finished transcript will arrive as a Microsoft Word document.  We can usually accommodate specific formatting requests, however that usually adds one business day to turnaround time.
Your source material will be returned to you as specified.  If you prefer to avoid the cost of return shipping we will destroy all submitted material (i.e. shred CDs and magnetize tapes).  

Delivery:
Finished transcripts are emailed to you.  You will not receive a paper copy unless you request one.  Paper copies are $0.50 per page plus shipping.

First Class Service:
To enhance accuracy we have one person do the transcription and a second person edit and add time-codes.  However, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy.  If you ever have any issues with the quality of our product, please inform our staff immediately.  We guarantee our work for 72 hours to the following extent:  we will immediately redo any work which does not meet the high standards of Gallo Professional Services.  We will not reduce any bills or give refunds unless we have been given the opportunity to address your issue.
